How To Make Small Talk With Your Boss Stuck in the elevator or the break room when your boss comes in? Suddenly panic and get tongue-tied? Want desperately impress but not to look in any way desperate? Never fear, youââ¬â¢ll no longer have to spend the rest of the day regretting your awkward small talk drivel. Here are 7 tips on how to talk to your boss without looking stupid or insane.1. Remember their humanity.Your boss is also a person. I know that can be hard to keep in mind, but itââ¬â¢s important to remember. Donââ¬â¢t overanalyze and read things into every single thing she says. Give your boss a bit of leeway to do just that. Compliment a recent project or accomplishment of theirs, then sit back and let them direct the conversation.6. Talk travel.Particularly if your boss just got back from traveling or from vacation, you can always just ask how their trip went and then sit back and hear all the jealous-making details. Bonus points if you have some nice trivia or intel about the place theyââ¬â¢ve just come from or are going next.7. They work along with their individual teams very diligently to resolve problems that are arising in their departments. However, the organisationââ¬â¢s directors have been unable to develop a boding force between the departments. The biggest evidence of this fact is that each department is having i ts own management systems, which are not linked with other systems. It this age of globalisation, the importance which is placed on information sharing by experts is immense. According to the experts, this single aspect of doing business is so important that it can decide the fate of todayââ¬â¢s firms. In a fast paced globalised world, information sharing with key stake holders is vital for organisational success and survival (Krajewski, Ritzman, & Malhorta, 2007). And in this case the organisational departments are failing to share vital operational information with one another. This, obviously, is leading to duplication of effort, greater cost, declining productivity, redundancy and frustration in the organisation (Schemenner, 1984). Employees have to do cumbersome paperwork every day, accurate forecasting has become impossible, inventory holding cost is being incurred, wrong inventory is being maintained and above all, customers are feeling dejected. Rather than adopting an or ganisational model which allows the company to become nimble and flexible, so that it can compete effectively in the market place, the company has taken a structure which has made it inflexible and less than competitive (Loader, 2006). Absence of an integrated organisation wide enterprise management system is creating havoc for the company. The company is not doing accurate forecasting of demand, it has failed to satisfy customersââ¬â¢ needs and most importantly, it is not operating efficiently and effectively.

These should be part of the learning activities also where the students are enabled to understand these technologies and enabled to use these because in a way, creativity and technical skills are also developed. These can also be used as aid in learning concepts also like the use of computer games to teach the concept and activity of inference, hypothesis and prediction. My approach toward my educational philosophy with regard to technology was inductively developed. I looked at what I believe in with regard to the teaching-learning process and attached to these what I believe should be the role of technology. Later on, I looked into existing educational philosophies, and identified from there, which among these best fit my philosophy.
